Dr. Romy Shioda Joins the New York Office;
Dr. Adrian A. Zymolka to Be Based in London
NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2007-Axioma, Inc., a leading global provider of decision support, risk analysis and portfolio rebalancing tools for the financial services industry, announced today that Dr. Romy Shioda and Dr. Adrian Zymolka have joined the company as Directors in its Client Services Group. Drs. Shioda and Zymolka will be based in New York and London, respectively.

Dr. Romy Shioda was previously Assistant Professor in the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada. She holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in operations research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She also received from MIT undergraduate degrees in management, and mathematics with computer science.
Dr. Adrian Zymolka was previously with Atesio GmbH, a developer of optimization technology for the telecommunications industry. He studied at the Zuse Institute Berlin and received a Ph.D. in mathematics from Technical University in Berlin, Germany. He completed his earlier studies in mathematics and economics at Philipps-University in Marburg, Germany.
