Axioma Launches Axioma@Edu Program in Asia

National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University Are Founding Partners

SINGAPORE, July 24, 2006-Axioma Inc., a leading global provider of risk analysis and portfolio rebalancing tools for the financial services industry, today announced the launch Axioma@Edu in Asia. The National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Management University (SMU) are founding partners in the program.

Through the Axioma@Edu program, Axioma's state-of-the-art risk analysis and portfolio rebalancing tools are being made available to NUS and SMU for use in the institutions' quantitative finance, financial engineering and risk management curricula.

Axioma will serve as NUS' industry partner in the university's collaboration with the University of California, Berkeley and the Monetary Authorities of Singapore (MAS) for the newly launched Berkeley-NUS Risk Management Institute http://newshub.nus.edu.sg/pressrel/0606/060630.htm.

Axioma will provide its innovative analytics and expertise to SMU's quantitative finance program. Axioma also will collaborate with the university to design and conduct risk-management workshops for industry practitioners and students.
